Things that Stick

Interesting ideas about why some things stick in our heads and others don't. I'm reading some of the articles here and finding them interesting. Haven't bought the book yet, but it could be interesting. I'm always thinking about this kind of stuff as a teacher. How do we get the ideas we're trying to get across to students to "stick" in their heads. I guess, sometimes I questions what ideas are important. But then I know some of the things I try to get kids to ponder - such as kindness, etc.
